This Sunday (12-17) at House Party (6-8) we'll be taking a look at Christmas, and what it'll take to get the focus back on Jesus, and off of our consumeristic tendencies. Don't get me wrong, I like getting gifts. My wife's love language is gift-giving. She loves to find that perfect gift for someone. I'm not advocating that we buy nothing this Christmas. I just don't want the gifting, the decorating, the holiday parties, etc. to outweigh and draw the attention away from Jesus.
I don't think that's too much to want for Christmas, do you?
