What has God been doing in your life?

Tonight is the first House Party in what seems like forever. We were off for 2 weeks because of Spring Break, and we missed the last Sunday prior to break due to snow (that didn't really materialize).

I have been hearing a lot of stories about God moving in your lives, and the lives of your friends. I don't know if I'll make it to House Party tonight. For more details about the Stac's finger meets the Snowblower, click here. Things are a little iffy at the moment.

One of the hallmarks of the early church was their shared story. They had no church buildings, no trained clergy, the Bible wasn't yet compiled. What made them such a force for God and good in their world?

Their STORIES. They all had a God-story to share. They had all experienced Jesus in a life-changing way. When they gathered, they recounted what God had done in their lives.

There is power in the story, because it re-tells God's plan. Our stories encourage others. Our stories remind us of where we've seen God at work. They paint the picture of the God who is mighty to save, loves us with an everlasting love, and gives us hope to see the world changed.

Share your story with someone. See what God is doing.
